We saw Jesse's picture on the AAC Adoption Agency waiting children website in May of 2003 and it was love at first sight. We knew from the moment we saw him he was our son. 

We brought him home from Korea when he was 7 months old and he has brought indescribable joy to our family ever since. He has five brothers and sisters who adore him. 

Right from the beginning he showed us that he could do anything he wanted to and that he would be showing us what he could do. We have not had to "teach" him anything, he figures things out on his own. He is able to do many things with his feet including feeding himself, drawing, unscrewing lids, playing cards, stacking blocks, turning pages of a book and pretty much anything else you can think of. He walks unassisted with the occasional fall accompanied by a bruised forehead. He can squat down, pick up a toy between his shoulder and chin and stand right back up and bring it to us. 

He has the most wonderful, sweet, easy going, loving personality of any 22 month old I have met. He has a gentle spirit and everyone who meets him can't help but fall in love. He brightens our days and we are truly blessed to be his parents.
