Adam is a bright and wonderful son with a heart of
gold to match. Unfortunately, he was involved in a lawnmower accident,
causing him to lose several fingers at the age of five. Now, Adam has
use of six and a half fingers and full use of both thumbs. Adam has a
strong will and determination to try and accomplish just about anything.
Adam is caring and lovable, and enjoys outdoor
activities with his friends and family. He has three brothers, one
sister, and is the proud owner of Melvin, his Dachshund. Riding his
bike, skiing, swimming, playing soccer, camping in the mountains, are
some of the things he likes to do best. He is quite the fisherman also.
Adam has a great sense of humor as some of his favorite comedy movies
are Sister Act I & II. Recently, Adam has been working with his
piano instructor and will be performing in his second school recital.
The possibilities of what Adam can achieve are limitless.
Adam was very interested in meeting other people his age with
whom he can relate to. Since joining Unlimbited Children he has met
others with missing limbs and this has helped him. He is able to see,
talk with, and know that he is not so different.
